Club MAC Teenage Dreams

We’re a one-stop family holiday heaven at Club MAC Alcudia. From ‘princess-for-a day’ parties to discos, Masterchef competitions, swimming and much more, there’s something for every kid to do during their holiday.

And during the busiest part of the summer season, we have a special programme of activities for teenagers too. While they can do all the usual activities with other holidaymakers and even their parents, it’s a bonus for teens to have some organised fun with others of their own age. Here are some of the teenager activities they can expect during their family holiday at Club MAC.

Water polo

Teens can jump in the pool along with other holidaymakers and learn how to play water polo. It’s the best way to cool down when the temperatures rise, and healthy competition adds to the fun! Head to the Jupiter pool at 11.30am on Tuesday mornings for water polo. Or, if team sports aren’t their thing, your teens can try the Aquagym at the Saturno pool at 12pm instead. Led by our team of instructors, it’s a keep-fit session in the pool, along with older kids (maxis) and adults.

Dutch shuffleboard

It’s always fun to try something new on holiday, and teens can learn how to play Dutch shuffleboard next to the Saturno pool on Tuesday afternoons. Called ‘Sjoelen’, this is a game played mostly in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands and is a fun way to spend the afternoon. For something more traditional, darts is available for teens only at 4pm on Tuesdays next to the Saturno pool.

Entertainer for a day

One of the most popular activities at Club MAC Alcudia for teenagers is the chance to become an entertainer for the day. They can step into the shoes of our fabulous team of hard-working entertainers and find out what it takes to be part of the Club MAC team. They will take part in all of the activities and meetings just like a member of the entertainment team. It’s a morning activity from 10am to 12.30pm meeting at the Dragon house.

Teen disco

Every Thursday from 9.30 till 11pm teens can enjoy their very own disco. The first one of the season is this week at the Dragon House. No alcohol, but plenty of good tunes.

Open-air cinema

Another group activity for all ages, but particularly popular with teenagers is our open-air cinema. Held in Jupiter gardens on Wednesday nights, it’s a lovely opportunity to enjoy classic films while enjoying the warmth of a Majorcan summer evening.

Rifle shooting

On Thursday mornings from 11.30am to 12.30pm, teens can learn how to shoot a rifle in our special shooting area. It’s a great opportunity for teenagers to try something different and learn a new skill, all while making friends.

Table tennis

Ping pong runs on Sunday afternoons between 4 and 5pm in Jupiter gardens and is for teenagers and adults alike. Play against your own family and friends or take on some other holidaymakers.

All of these times vary, and sessions run more than once a week, so make sure you check the website and Guest Services for up-to-date timetables during your stay with us.

Don’t forget that if you don’t already have WiFi in your room (Standard rooms don’t automatically have it) you can sign up for it at an extra charge. If you have a Premium or Family room, then WiFi comes as standard, so your teens will be able to enjoy films and gaming during the quieter moments of their stay.
