What’s your perfect evening at Club MAC? - Club Mac

Club MAC is all about having a great time with your family. The beautiful sandy beaches of Alcudia are a picture-perfect setting for a relaxed family holiday and the Club MAC team ensures there is no dearth of options at the resort to keep you engaged and entertained from morning till night.

Enjoy these activities during your evenings at Club MAC

There are plenty of activities throughout the day at Club MAC for guests of all ages. There are also some carefully curated ingredients for a perfect evening. Guests can ride pedalos and electric boats on the lake till late evening, and the mini boats in the kids’ pool next to Saturno are available until even later. Fancy some exercise? The tennis court and the playground are also open in the evening.

In fact, many activities at the resort come alive with nightfall. The market stalls around the lake are more colourful and vibrant at night. The Fun World is abuzz at this time with our young guests enjoying the rides and games. For those who wish to head out, the bus to the port also plies during evening hours.

Kids Time, tribute shows, and all that jazz

Evenings at Club MAC are packed with entertainment options. The activities vary each day. Kids Time! takes place for an hour at the Circus stage. There is a kids’ parade around the lake with a train and the Club MAC mascots, followed by a mini disco. On some days, instead of the parade, there is a dance activity. An external company also organizes a parrot and reptile show with Captain Stanley the Parrot on certain days. On other days, kids can enjoy a short film or cartoons.

Our older guests can enjoy a half hour of bingo after dinner or before the entertainment shows at Saturno and Circus .The shows at Saturno typically conclude in the late evening, and usually repeat every fortnight. There is an extensive schedule guests can check out in advance. Take your pick between karaoke or musical tributes which include a mix of musical styles, from groovy tunes to classic hits, with performances inspired by tropical vibes and various decades.

The Circus stage is dominated by its own playbill of evening shows, many produced by Club MAC’s entertainment team. Tribute shows for legends which are eternally popular with guests. There are also illusionists, magic shows, stand-up comedies, acrobats, and music festivals.

Where to eat and drink on those late evenings

While Club MAC likes to keep guests entertained, the team also keeps them well fed and refuelled. There are buffet-style themed dinners every night at the restaurants – think Indian night or Spanish night food. Jupiter also serves a late dinner until midnight, with a choice of hot food like burgers, sausages, nuggets and fries and cold food like bread, cheese, ham, and salad. The bars are open till late, and Circus serves drinks right until midnight.

With such a wide range of things to do, an ideal evening might include an early themed dinner with the entire family, followed by a stroll amidst the market stalls and along the lake. Then, drop off the children for Kids Time! and head to bingo. Afterwards, enjoy the evening shows at Circus or Saturno, grab a drink and a bite at one of the bars, and revel in a night of music and dance under the starry Balearic sky.

Club-MAC-Entertainment-Team-3

Club MAC is a popular family holiday destination in Majorca for more than just the picturesque island location and our all-inclusive holiday packages. A big attraction with our guests is also our many entertainment activities and events curated carefully for all ages and interests. Behind the scenes of our brimming entertainment calendar is our dedicated entertainment team working extra hard to ensure that everyone has a great time at Club MAC.

Meet three of the stars of our entertainment team and find out what makes them tick!

Meet Luisa!

Luisa is from La Solana in Ciudad Real, Spain. They speak Spanish and English and have been with Club MAC for a year now since the end of August last year.

What do I do at Club MAC?

I am a multipurpose animator! I especially dedicate myself to the mini club.

What do I like to do when I am not working?

I like to read, watch tv shows and movies, listen to music, do photography (and videography) and editing, and I like to spend time on social networks.

When I am away from work, I take time to rest and unwind. I like going out to eat. I enjoy going drinking and dancing with my co-workers and friends. I am fond of experiences, so I love going to festivals and meeting new people or discovering the island where there are lots of fun things to do for visitors as well as residents.

What do I do in the winter?

I am always on the lookout for something new. While I tutor two children and help out my cousin with her shop, I also want to learn and experience new things. I believe in taking risks to advance and evolve. Someday, I want to live in a new country where I can continue to improve my English. This will help me be a pro with next year’s Club MAC guests!

Meet Raul!

Raul too is from La Solana in Ciudad Real. Like Luisa, they are a native Spanish speaker but also speak English. This is their first year at Club MAC and they’re here for the entire season.

What do I do at Club MAC?

I am an entertainment polyvalent here, so I handle many different aspects of the entertainment activities for our guests.

What do I like to do when I am not working?

I enjoy travelling, going to the cinema, and hanging out with my friends who I can always have a laugh with. I also find it relaxing to express myself through physical movement.

Relaxation and tranquillity are important for me, especially when I am away from work. That aside, I enjoy music, dancing, going out, discovering new places, and meeting new people.

What do I do in the winter?

I could do many things in the winter months, but I prefer to return to Madrid to continue with my interpretation exercises. I might also want to visit Dublin and spend some time there improving my English. That would give me a boost at Club MAC with the guests next season.

Meet Manu!

Manu, unlike the others, is all the way from Wetteren in East Flanders, Belgium. They are a polyglot and speak Dutch, French, English as well as Spanish. Manu has been with Club MAC since 2019 and is one of the senior team members.

What do I do at Club MAC?

I am part of the Entertainment Team of Club MAC.

What do I like to do when I am not working?

My favourite hobbies are breakdancing and gymnastics. When I am not working or pursuing my hobbies, I enjoy sightseeing, playing video games, or going out on excursions.  As you have guessed, I like activities that involve physical movement, which makes Majorca a great place for me.

What do I do in the winter?

I am a foodie and I eat a lot!

Family Entertainment at Club MAC: Fun Activities for All Ages - Club Mac

Club MAC is all about fun times with family. Our guests come in all ages, from tiny tots to adults, who love us for the umpteen activities and entertainment options we provide at our family-centric resort in the midst of the picturesque beaches of Alcudia.

We organize events and activities for our guests to enjoy throughout the day. Our entertainment teams work hard to ensure everyone has a great time. During the day, you can enjoy water sports, kids’ activities, poolside events, and themed days. In the evenings, our entertainment options include shows, concerts, and cinema.

Entertainment for the Young Ones

For tiny tots aged 4 to 6, we offer a mini club. It includes a play area and a paddling pool. Our team of entertainers organizes various games and activities, including t-shirt painting, storytelling, and drawing. Kids can enjoy play and dance, experiment workshops, splash games, and MACsterchef Junior. Some activities are supervised, while others require an adult present.

For slightly older children, our entertainers conduct similar activities, focusing on arts, crafts, and sports. Teenagers can participate in even sportier games like aquafit, darts, water polo, water volleyball, water basketball, archery, table tennis, and Dutch shuffleboard.

Entertainment for Adults and Families

Even adults can try their hand at these sports and discover their inner child if need be. One of our special activities is an entertaining challenge between our guests and our entertainers, where both compete in various sports activities. The winner gets a prize, the loser ends up in the pool!

But Club Mac’s entertainment options aren’t limited to age-wise activities. There are many entertaining events designed for entire families. Join a pool party  with a DJ and inflatables or come do a splash dance with our entertainers at the edge of the pool.

In the low season, the Club MAC Friday Party offers a fun-filled evening where you can meet our lively entertainers, hang out with our cheerful mascots, and enjoy a variety of entertainment – from exciting games and upbeat music to lively dance and delicious party food!

Shows, Concerts, and Evening Entertainment

At Club MAC, multiple events and activities take place daily. A typical evening includes dropping off young children at a pajama party. Older kids can enjoy a magic show at the Dragon House. Meanwhile, adults can head to entertainment shows at the Circus Stage or Saturno stage.

Our Karaoke Nights are a Saturday highlight, letting you shine as a star. Tribute concerts and shows occur every other evening. Our entertainers cover all music genres and eras.

Our tribute shows, celebrating legendary icons, are always a hit with guests and continue to be a favorite attraction. For something a little different, don’t miss the Seriously Funny comedy show with a musical twist, or head over to Dragon House  for a fun-filled experience at the Mini Cinema.

Most of the acts change from week to week, but they are all guaranteed to keep you entertained.  We have a full calendar for the months ahead, which you can check here to see what’s in store. To experience these events and activities in person, book a stay with us today and enjoy a holiday full of family fun and entertainment at Club MAC.

These are the best Spanish dishes to try at Club MAC on Thursday night - Club Mac

Get into the heart of Spanish cuisine when you holiday at Club MAC Alcudia this summer. With a choice of three restaurants and buffet-style themed dinners, our all-inclusive family holiday packages ensure that our guests are spoilt for choice at all meals. Take your pick of tapas, montaditos, mains and desserts from our extensive menu. It also includes vegetarian options, and a kid’s corner (think chicken popcorn and lasagne Bolognese) to keep your little ones happy and well-fed.

Explore the Best of Majorcan Cuisine
While classic Spanish cuisine overflows with hearty flavours and a variety of dishes, there are some that we recommend you try on your holiday in the beautiful Majorca islands. You can find these and many more delicious options on the Club MAC menu.

Tapas vs. Montaditos: What’s the Difference?
Do you know the difference between a tapa and a montadito? Outside Spain, people use ‘tapas’ for Spanish starters and small plates. These include montaditos, pinxtos, and raciones. If you think tapas are small snacks with drinks, you are correct! At Club MAC, you will have choices such as chorizo in cider, battered squid, and patatas bravas when ordering tapas.

Vegetarian Options for Every Taste
The menu offers an extra dozen montaditos. These snacks are served on a slice of bread. Think open sandwiches served either hot or cold. You have regular options like ham (Serrano!), tomato, and cheese. There’s also salmon and hummus with veggie sticks. For something more exotic, try chistorra (traditional cured sausage). You can also enjoy chorizo criollo, surimi, and egg.

We have many vegetarian dishes on the menu. One is tumbet, a Majorcan dish. It has roasted vegetables like potatoes, aubergines, and bell peppers in layers. This dish is not well known in mainland Spain. A heartier option is pisto. It’s Spain’s version of ratatouille. This healthy vegetable stew includes peppers, onions, tomatoes, and courgettes.

Must-Try Spanish Dishes at Club MAC

No menu in Spain is complete without the Spanish omelette, considered a national dish by many in the country. While everyone thinks their way of making it is the best – with or without onions, served as a snack or a main dish – the tortilla española made with eggs and potatoes is a must-try from the Club MAC menu.

The Iconic Spanish Omelette

The same goes for paella, an iconic rice dish originally from Valencia. Contrary to popular perception and modern popularity, the traditional paella is not a seafood dish, but a field dish made with chicken, rabbit, snails and other ingredients like white and green beans, tomatoes, olive oil, and saffron (and rice, of course). Traditionalists insist on proper ingredients for paella. Without them, it can’t be called a paella.

Spanish cuisine, and the Club MAC menu, are equally diverse when it comes to desserts.Try an assortment of cheeses, cakes, and puddings. We recommend the tocinillo de cielo. This tart looks like flan or crème caramel. It uses only egg yolks, sugar, and water. The origin dates back to the 1300s in Jerez. Local nuns used egg whites to clarify wine. They used leftover yolks to prepare tocinillo de cielo.

Enjoy authentic Spanish dishes at Club MAC restaurants. Have your fill every Thursday with our themed dinner, Olé España. If you’d rather have something more familiar and less exotic, we also offer a variety of roast meats and stews. You can even have your grilled meats prepared in front of you as you and your family enjoy the spread at Club MAC.

Club MAC Check In and Out

Here at Club MAC Alcudia, we understand that you want to start your holiday as soon as possible. We try to make every moment as exciting as possible, with all our facilities available to guests no matter when they arrive. But before you can relax, here are a few things you should know about checking in and out of our resort.

Check-In

It is important to remember that a booking is valid from 2pm to 11am the next day. When arriving at Club MAC, you can check in from 2pm on your arrival date. If you are arriving with us in the early hours of the morning and don’t want to wait until 2pm to access your room, we suggest you do book an extra day from the night before. This will give you access to your room straight after arrival; always a blessing when travelling with children!

But if you turn up early and your room isn’t quite ready, you’ll be given access to the luggage room and changing facilities as well as your all-inclusive bracelet so you can go ahead and enjoy the facilities straight away.

You’ll be able to dig into the food and drinks, go straight to the water park and enjoy the whole resort complex straight away while we get your room sorted. It’s always good to have a small bag of essentials to help you enjoy your holiday straight away if you do arrive early. Make sure you can easily grab your swimming costumes, towels, flip flops and everything else you’d need.

What to bring?

You’ll need to bring a print out of your tour operator’s voucher. We can’t accept a screenshot on your mobile phone, so do make sure you have a physical copy of it. If you have made a direct booking with us this is not necessary.

We’ll also need to see a passport for everyone in your party. If you have them ready up front you’ll get through the process more quickly. You’ll then need to sign on a tablet and, if you’re from the UK, input your postcode, select your address and leave your email.

All-Inclusive bracelet

After the formal stuff has been completed, you’ll all get your all-inclusive bracelet. They’re personalised for every guest, so must be applied individually at reception.

Once you have your bracelet, you’ll be asked to pay the local environmental tax, which is 1.1 Euros (including VAT) per adult (aged 16+) per night. You don’t need to pay any for children, and if you’re staying for a while, after the ninth night the tax will be halved.

You’ll then get your keys, our welcome leaflet and lots of information on the resort.

Late Check-Out

If you have a late flight or just want a final lie in on the last day of your holiday, we have options to extend your check out past 11am. In some cases, we can offer a late check out. These are confirmed the night before departure only. To extend your check out, simply go to the reception after 6pm to ask if there is availability and if the room can be kept for a few more hours. If you’re travelling with children and want to guarantee that you have a room up until you must leave us, we strongly recommend that you book an extra night with us. This will ensure there is a room available to you. For ease, this booking can be done directly with us at reception, even if you have booked your holiday through a tour operator.

If we have limited availability, and you can’t keep your room for longer, a courtesy room can be used to store your baggage and freshen up. In any case, your all-inclusive package is still available until you leave the hotel on your departure day.

two people in the pool.

At Club MAC Alcudia, we know that everyone’s idea of a perfect holiday is different. While some guests love non-stop activities and adventure, others prefer to unwind and take things slow. If you’re looking for relaxing activities at Club MAC Alcudia, we’ve got plenty of options to help you recharge and enjoy some well-deserved downtime.

We have so much on offer on site at Club MAC that it’s difficult to become bored with the choice. But for those times when the activities feel a bit too hectic, or you’re looking for some ‘me’ time away from the kids and busy pool areas, we can also help you kick back and relax during your stay.

Here are our five ways to take it easy and at the same time do some relaxing activities at the Club Mac Alcudia.

  1. Visit the lakeside area

While you could easily spend all of your time in and out of the pools at Club MAC, we also have a quieter area tucked away lakeside. It’s nice for adults to have some peaceful sunbathing time, or to enjoy a relaxing treatment from our beauty experts.

If a massage helps you feel relaxed, then our staff are happy to oblige. You will need to pre-book and beauty treatments are extra to the all-inclusive, so bear that in mind before booking. Afterwards, why not relax by the lake with a book, and enjoy the peaceful vibes?

  1. Jump into exercise

One of the best ways to become fully relaxed is to make sure your physical energy has been worked off. For many people, lounging by the pool doesn’t burn enough energy off to ensure a good night’s sleep.

Why not explore our sporting options for all the family and take part in aqua aerobics, football games or waterbasket? Running around outside all day is bound to ensure the best night’s sleep you can imagine, setting you up for the rest of your holiday.

  1. Turn off the internet!

We know that having access to WiFi is important to our guests and have made sure that wherever you are at our resort, you can use the free WiFi in all of the complex.

If you have a busy job back in the real world, how about going on an electronic detox while you’re at Club MAC. Switching off emails, and not staring at computer screens can go a long way to feeling relaxed.

  1. Fun in the sun

Getting some Vitamin D is a great way to relax while you’re on holiday, and it will go a long way to developing your tan to show off when you get back home! Don’t spend too much time in the very hot sun in the middle of the day though, as this can cause sunstroke and sunburn. Staying safe in the sun, applying sun cream and staying hydrated are our top tips for relaxing sunbathing.

  1. Get back to nature

Sea swimming is a beautifully relaxing activity that many people just don’t get the chance to do in their normal lives. Here at Club MAC we have the beautiful Alcudian beaches just a short bus ride away (it’s also walkable if you prefer). Dive into the crystal blue ocean and feel your cares drift away on the Majorcan tide.
