First time at Club MAC Alcudia? Here’s what you need to know
It’s here! Summer 2019 is officially underway at Club MAC Alcudia. We’re welcoming our first visitors right now, ready to enjoy everything on offer for the best all-inclusive family holiday in Mallorca.
We welcome back returning families every year, as well as lots of newcomers. If it’s your family’s first time at Club MAC Alcudia, you might be wondering what’s in store. Here’s a brief rundown of the basics. For more information on everything from food and drink to rooms and entertainment, check out our website.
If it’s your first time at Club MAC Alcudia…
We know it can be a bit nerve-wracking heading to a resort for the first time. Here’s some info that may help.
Arriving at Club MAC
Our reception areas are open 24 hours a day, so you don’t need to worry about when you can check in. If you arrive after midnight, you will need to book for the night before, as our booking days run from 2pm to 11am the next day.
A restaurant is open with snacks on offer up until midnight, and after that you’ll find drinks available 24 hours a day in the halls of the hotel buildings. If you arrive earlier than your check in time of 2pm, pop to reception and we’ll sort the paperwork and issue bracelets so you can start enjoying the facilities immediately.
Similarly, on your last day, check out is 11am, but you can keep your all-inclusive bracelet on until you leave the site so you can still enjoy everything on offer.
Differences between Standard, Premium and Family rooms
Standard rooms
These are available in all three hotel buildings on all floors. They’re for a maximum for four people, either two adults and two children, or three adults and one child. Cots are provided free of charge and are automatically included if your children are under 2 years old. You will have access to a small balcony and all rooms come with air conditioning, a kettle, fridge, safe, fast WiFi, TV with premium channels and a bath with overhead shower.
Premium rooms
These are mostly in the Jupiter and Saturno buildings, with just one available in Marte. Along with all of the facilities available in the Standard rooms, you also get a dedicated check-in area, in-room welcome drinks and swimming pool towels against a deposit. You also have exclusive access to selection of branded drinks at our bars, free access to the kid’s fun world area between 10 and 6pm every day and a 15% voucher for the on-site shop. These rooms offer a walk-in shower only, with no bath. Premium rooms only hold up to two adults and two children.
Family Suites
You’ll find these in Jupiter and Saturno and they fit four people, with a max of three adults per room. These suites have a main room with double bed and a smaller second room with a sofa bed and bunk beds. You get the same benefits and extras as Premium guests.
Waterpark and entertainment
All Club MAC guests have complimentary access to the Hidropark water park, which is just across the road from the hotel. You also have an automatic 20% discount on food and drinks at the waterpark. Although Hidropark have increased the price of sunbeds to 5 Euros this year, Club MAC guests can still book them for the old price of 4.50 Euros.
The Club MAC kids club is free to everyone over the age of four. Most activities are free, aside from specific ones for older children, including T-shirt painting, pony riding and the ESA soccer academy. We have loads of activities specifically for each age group, including for teenagers in the peak months of July and August. Check our website for full details of everything on offer.
Evening entertainment is from 9pm to 10.30pm at the Saturno stage and 9.30 to 11pm at the CIRCUS stage. There are two shows in these two different areas, ranging from tribute bands to acrobatics. If it rains in the evening, the shows move indoors to the ground floors of Jupiter and Saturno, so that your fun isn’t interrupted.
