At Club MAC Alcudia we are committed to helping every member of your family to have the best holiday possible. Whether you have a tiny baby or a family member who needs a wheelchair, we can help you help them to enjoy their time in Majorca – hassle free.

We know that bringing everything you need for your holiday isn’t always possible, particularly when it comes to babies, children and people who may have special needs. After all, no one can squeeze a high chair into the overhead luggage on the plane!

Partnership with Lowerhire

We’ve teamed up with the number one holiday hire service in Majorca. Run by a British family, Lowerhire was started more than 15 years ago and specialises in renting specialist equipment to holidaymakers on the island.

This includes everything from mobility scooters, wheelchairs and other equipment to help people get around as well as lots of different helpful things for babies. You can order at reception with us and they will bring it straight to your room as soon as they can. It’s as simple as that!

Baby equipment for hire

 Lowerhire have everything to make your holiday as easy as possible. From pushchairs, cots, high chairs (available in the restaurant with no need to hire) and car seats to bed guards and baby walkers, you’ll find everything you could need. We advise that we have some free bed guards at the hotel that can be requested on arrival only, but often they are not enough to cover demand. If you need a food blender to make up your little one’s dinner (although remember that as from this year we offer purees in our restaurants), a steam steriliser to clean bottles, a double buggy for your toddlers or a sun parasol to keep their skin safe from the Spanish sun, then you can hire them for a reasonable weekly fee.

 Mobility equipment for hire

 There’s nothing worse than going on holiday and not being able to get around. If you need any kind of equipment to help yours or your family’s mobility then Lowerhire can help there too. They rent out mobility scooters, powerchairs and wheelchairs – everything you need to help in your accommodation.

You can hire wheelchairs just for the day if you’re heading out on a long day trip, or for the duration of your stay if that’s easier. Crutches, toilet surrounds, swivelling bath seats and much more are available. Ask at reception for a complete list and prices.

Household equipment for hire

 If you’re after some entertainment for your room you can also hire a DVD player or a CD player from Lowerhire. You can also hire anything from hair straighteners to mini fridges and kettles (both included in premium and family rooms), microwaves, toasters and irons – although there is also an ironing room on the first floor of the Saturno building for our guests to use. Everything, in fact, to make your room or suite at Club MAC a proper home from home!
