If you’re ready to book your holiday for summer, you’re probably wondering when to go. The best month to holiday at Club MAC depends on what you want from your time away in the sun. Our season runs from the start of May to the end of October, giving you plenty of options for your holiday at Club MAC.

The best month to holiday at Club MAC

For holiday makers searching for an early getaway, April/May are great months to come to Mallorca. Temperatures hover at an average of 18°C, but often reach highs of up to 23°C on hotter days. There is plenty of time to get a suntan, and it’s not too hot to explore further afield.

It is a good time to visit Club MAC if you are after a holiday that offers plenty of sunshine, but a slightly quieter atmosphere. This period is mostly out of school holidays, making it less hectic at Club MAC – perfect for people looking for relaxation.

While the evenings are cooler than in mid-season, with lows of about 12°C, there are 12 hours of sunshine filled hours to enjoy. We also have plenty of our activities available for guests, including mini and maxi clubs for the children. All our facilities are open throughout the season, and if you come at the beggining you’ll be among the first to enjoy them!

Feel the heat in high season at Club MAC

If your idea of the perfect summer holiday is hot, hot, hot, then you should book your holiday at Club MAC for high season. Temperatures begin heating up in June and reach their peak by August. July and August are peak times at Club MAC. Expect a full resort with hundreds of fellow guests enjoying the resort’s facilities.

And while this can sometimes mean a queue at peak times at the bars and restaurants, we work hard to make sure you aren’t waiting too long. Our teenage programme of activities runs in July and August too, with specially designed group entertainment just for teens.

End of season at Club MAC

Later in the season, there are no signs of Club MAC fun winding down. Our entertainment team is here for guests right up until the very last day. As the long school summer holiday finishes, the resort becomes slightly quieter again. And the temperatures are still high enough for sunbathing, visiting Playa d’Alcudia and enjoying everything the area has to offer.

September and October are particularly good for excursions, as the cooler temperatures make exploring Alcudia more comfortable. Head into Palma for a shopping spree or take in the marine life at Palma Aquarium. As the later months can mean the occasional bout of rain, we have contingency plans for evening entertainment. Should it rain during show times, then we move them indoors to the ground floor of Saturno and Jupiter.

The October half-term is usually towards the end of the month and the end of our season. So, if comfortably warm temperatures, a busy environment, plenty to do and a laid-back vibe is your idea of a great holiday, booking a holiday at Club MAC during October could be for you.

Holidays at Club MAC during the height of the summer season are always lots of fun, with a busy atmosphere and high temperatures to enjoy. But if you are after a more laid-back vibe, you should plan to visit in Club Mac in September and October.

Off-season holiday fun at Club MAC

Club MAC’s season every year runs until the 31st of October, which means you can still enjoy everything we have to offer throughout Autumn. Please note, the last night of the season is 30th of October, checking out on 31st of October. Whether you choose to come during term time, or in Autumn half-term, we can guarantee sunshine, excitement and holiday fun for all the family.

It is a bit quieter during September and October at Club MAC, as the kids go back to school and the season slows down. You can expect beaches with fewer people, more sunbeds to choose from and a chilled-out atmosphere, but with all of the entertainment available during the height of the season too.

How hot is it in September and October?

August is the peak of summer in terms of temperatures in Alcudia, when you can expect long, hot, humid days. By mid-September, it’s still hot but the temperatures are less fiery, with slightly cooler evenings. And into October, the days become pleasantly warm at around 26 degrees, with fresher nights. You will still get a tan right up to the end of the season, thanks to Mallorca’s reputation as the sunshine island!

Club MAC Alcudia is near the beach and tends to bask in warmer temperatures throughout October than further inland on the island. Less crowded swimming pools and beaches make it even more perfect for sunbathing, and the sea temperature is still high so it’s perfect for water sports, activities and swimming.

During October, while it is still warm and sunny, there are also more storms and a higher chance of rain, so bear that in mind when choosing the ideal holiday time. However, the rain always passes quickly, and we have plenty to do whether it’s sunny or temporarily showery.

Everything runs right till the end of the season

Early Autumn at Club MAC is particularly great for families with young children. There’s everything you need at our resort for a hassle-free holiday with toddlers and younger kids, ranging from buggy hire to freshly cooked baby food in our restaurants.

Our Mini club is ideal for smaller kids, and our entertainment team continues to work hard right till the end of the season to make your kids’ holiday just as special as yours. Macky and Misha are still about, and activities like Princess for a Day continue to delight the little ones. Of course, there are also the children’s pools to splash about in and lots for the whole family to do. Everything runs as normal apart from the shuttle bus to Port d’Alcudia in the evenings, which stops mid-September. The teen specific entertainment programme also stops at the end of August, as it runs in high season only.

What happens if the weather forecast is less than perfect when you’re here?

Whether you’re staying with us right now, or you’re worried about the weather before you get here, worry no longer. At Club MAC we know that there is always the chance of some less than perfect weather, so we ensure there’s still lots to do when this happens.

All the entertainment normally still takes place if the weather is bad. Check the entertainment panels in the halls for more details. Typically, activities take place on the ground and first floors of the Saturno and Jupiter buildings.

What about evening entertainment?

On the few occasions when the weather is too wet or windy to enjoy the evening shows on the normal outside stages, they are moved indoors to the Saturno and Jupiter buildings.

As you can see, there’s no need to worry about getting bored if the weather isn’t perfect. And then it’s back to sunbathing, swimming and the beach because the sun doesn’t stay hidden for long in Alcudia!
