Getting Around When Visiting Club MAC Alcudia

When holidaying at Club MAC Alcudia, you will need to find out how to reach our resort, as well as how to travel around the island. Here is your guide to getting around while visiting Club MAC Alcudia.

Reaching Majorca

It is important that you look for flights to Palma Airport, as this is the only airport in Majorca. It is typically identified with the code PMI (Palma de Majorca) but it appears differently, depending on your airline. On Thomson they use the standard code. On Ryanair it will appear simply as Mallorca, using the alternative spelling for Majorca, while on EasyJet it will be shown as Majorca (Palma) PMI.

Once you reach Palma Airport, you can rent a car. Renting a car allows you to go off the beaten track, exploring hidden Majorcan gems such as the Coves del Hams caves and Es Calo beach at your own convenience. National Atesa, Avis, Herz and Europcar all provide car rental services from Palma Airport and as standard you will pay between 200€ to 500€ for one week, but it can cost more. We suggest you search for flights and car rental services via Skyscanner.co.uk, to find the cheapest deals.

Transfer services

Alternatively, you can transfer from Palma to Club MAC via shuttle bus. With this option, it’ll take you around an hour to reach the resort, depending on whether Club MAC is the first or last drop off point on the route. You can book a shuttle bus transfer, shared or private, with our partner firm Hoppa. Just click on the link on the bottom of our website’s Home Page and book your transfer online.

Bus trips

You can also visit some of nearby Alcudia town’s most popular sites very easily while staying at our resort. We hold regular free bus runs to the beach, known for its luxurious golden sands, from Club MAC’s main gate between 10am and 5pm. In the high season, you can also take a bus free service to Alcudia port, connecting you with its outstanding bars and restaurants, daily from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. Check out the Resort Page on the Club MAC website to find bus schedules for the beach and port runs.

Alcudia Bus Routes

To find out more about taking buses in Alcudia, consult the map featured above, which is also available from Transport Majorca. We should note that routes 351 through 356 serve North Majorca, where Alcudia is located, but the grey route doesn’t operate in winter. Note that the Club MAC bus stop is called ‘Hotel Reinas,’ the former name for our resort. Meanwhile, you can find the Magic bus stop, which serves most routes, at the end of the road from Club MAC, meaning you won’t have to walk too far when you decide to head into town.

Using taxis

You can also book a taxi easily from Club MAC Alcudia. Our Guest Satisfaction Department can provide you with a list of local taxi services in the holiday season. During the winter, you can arrange taxis by contacting booking@clubmac.es or by the chat feature on our website in business hours. You can transfer from the airport to our resort via taxi, which as standard costs 70€ to 75€. Majorcan taxis often carry four people maximum and there will be a limited amount of room for luggage in the boot.

Enjoy Club MAC

The last thing you want to worry about when flying out to Majorca is your travel plans. We would advise you to research transfer and travel options before jetting out to the Balearics, so you can focus on enjoying everything Club MAC Alcudia has to offer when you get here. With our all-inclusive experience, you’re sure to make holiday memories you’ll cherish forever at our popular family resort!
