Your Guide to Palma Airport

Your holiday at Club MAC Alcudia begins the moment you land at Palma de Mallorca Airport—the gateway to the island. To make sure your summer break gets off to a smooth start, it helps to know what to expect on arrival.

Getting to Majorca

Getting here is easy! Flights from the UK or Ireland take just 2 to 3 hours, depending on your departure airport. And the good news? If you’re travelling from the EU, UK, or Ireland, there are no short-stay visa requirements, so entry is hassle-free.

Welcome to Palma Airport

Palma Airport (PMI) is just 8km from the capital, Palma. It’s Spain’s third busiest airport, handling millions of passengers every year—so expect a bit of a buzz! Just follow the signs and you’ll be through in no time.

Terminals at a Glance

There are four terminals at Palma Airport—A, B, C and D:

  • Terminal A: Non-Schengen flights like those from the UK and Ireland. Includes passport control.
  • Terminal B: For regional flights within the Balearics (Ibiza and Menorca).
  • Terminal C: The largest and busiest terminal in summer. Handles Schengen flights (Germany, France, Italy, etc.).
  • Terminal D: Handles more Schengen flights, especially from mainland Spain.

Once you’ve collected your luggage and cleared passport control, you’ll be ready to head out and start exploring the island!

✈️ Tip: No need to remove liquids from your hand luggage at Palma Airport’s new scanners—but you will need to take off your boots!
