Which excursions can you book for your Club MAC holiday?

While we have lots for you and the family to do on site at Club MAC, we know you’ll want to get out and about to explore Mallorca too. Whether you want an adventure park for the kids, or a trip into Palma for shopping, there’s plenty on offer.

Marineland Dolphinarium and Marine Zoo

Always popular with families, a trip to Marineland will introduce you to the seven friendly dolphins who live on site. The show is intended to demonstrate the intelligence and fascinating qualities of these animals. There are also four seals at the zoo, as well as a number of fresh-water aquariums packed with marine life. Sea-water aquariums allow visitors to see all kinds of species, from scorpion fish to clown fish, along with sea turtles. And there is also a Mediterranean aquarium full of manta rays and stingrays.

A short stroll from the aquariums, you’ll find the bird sanctuary. It’s home to flamingos, macaws, penguins and plenty of others. There is also a tropical house with iguanas, snakes and frogs.

At Club MAC, we offer two excursions that include Marineland, including a whole day at the park on Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays. Alternatively, you can book a half day at Marineland and a half day at Katmandu House. Head to the Guest House on site to book your excursions and to find out 2020 prices.

Katmandu House Theme Park

Katmandu Park is a family-friendly theme park centred around The House. It’s now the Best Amusement Park in Mallorca according to TripAdvisor. Exciting rides, 4D encounters and a splash park make it a great place to take the kids while you’re at Club MAC. Find out all about it at katmandupark.com. At Club MAC, we sell tickets to Katmandu Park including meals and transport if you choose. Tickets are available at the Guest House or at Reception and the journey takes about one hour. Either book a whole day VIP trip or mix it up with a visit to Marineland on the same day.

Pirates Adventure Show

This is the most famous and popular show in Mallorca, and one not to be missed. Pirates Adventure is a jaw-dropping day out with acrobats and dancers putting on a show. You’ll be right in the middle of the action, enjoying comedy, fun and adventure on the high seas. More than 3 million people have enjoyed this show over the last 30 years.

It’s an hour’s journey from Club MAC, and by booking your excursion on site you’ll get transport included. There are a few different options, from the Maindeck to Captain’s Table. Find out more at Reception or Guest Services when you book.

Palma Aquarium

Home to the deepest shark tank in Europe, Palma Aquarium is a fascinating centre of sea life conservation. The tank is called Big Blue and is filled with 3.5 million litres of sea water, housing 11 sharks. There is loads to see and do at the aquarium, and you can either visit it all day or as a combined excursion with a boat trip or with a Palma sightseeing tour.

Boat cruises

There are a number of different boat cruises available to book through Club MAC, including a laid back two-hour cruise, a scuba diving option, a kayak excursion complete with BBQ on the beach, a snorkelling trip, an exploration of coves, caves and coast and a sunrise and dolphins cruise.

Caves and markets

If you want to head inland, we have various excursions for you to enjoy, including the Caves of Drach in Porto Cristo. One of the biggest tourist attractions in Mallorca, the caves are 25 metres deep and contain a huge underground lake. Combine a trip to the caves with a visit to Sineu market for a spot of shopping or take a half day trip to Alcudia market.

For all of our excursions, head to the Guest House or Reception to buy tickets and get more information. Prices are not yet updated for 2020, but we will let you know when they are.
