Club-MAC-Inca

Whether you’re joining us for half term or planning next summer’s break, it’s always handy to know how to get around. Our resort at Club MAC is large, with three hotels on site. We also have 8 swimming pools of varying sizes, a natural lake in the middle of the complex and various facilities.

When you arrive for check-in, you will be given instructions of how to get around Club MAC, how to find the restaurants, your room, the shop and everything else. When you have your bearings and have settled in, it’s time to explore a bit further afield. In this blog we look at how to get from Club MAC to the port, the beach, Alcudia market and where to take a scenic walk.

Walking to the market

Alcudia Market is a must-visit while you’re here. On this map, you’ll see a couple of options for directions to Alcudia Market. It’s approximately 2.6km and should take roughly half an hour. At the market you’ll find lots of traditional produce, along with plenty of souvenirs of your stay in Mallorca. Open every Tuesday and Sunday, it’s situated in the old walls of Alcudia, surrounding the pretty old town.

Hop on a bus to the market

If you don’t fancy the walk, you can also get the bus to the market. Here are details of where to catch the bus just outside Club MAC. There’s a bus roughly every 20 minutes and the journey takes about 30 minutes, as it also drops people off at Port d’Alcudia. Alternatively, you can get a taxi for around 6 euros from Club MAC to the market.

Walking to Port d’Alcudia

There are a couple of different routes you can take to walk to the Port. The quickest is an easy 2km stroll and will take about 20 minutes. It’s a nice, easy walk straight to the beautiful Port d’Alcudia area, where you’ll find plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops to explore. The beach is the highlight of the port, and you’ll find plenty of activities and water sports to try.

The best part of Playa d’Alcudia

The long, sandy beaches at Play d’Alcudia are the highlight of many people’s trip. The waters are shallow, warm and safe for swimming and there are miles of golden sand to enjoy. We particularly recommend the part of the beach shown here. The pine trees provide plenty of natural shadeand is the perfect place to enjoy sand, sea and relaxation.

How to find Tivoli Steak House

If you’ve been to Club MAC before then you’ll probably already know about the very popular steakhouse nearby. Tivoli is a firm favourite with our guests, and we recommend trying its extensive and kid-friendly menu at least once. It’s only about a 12-minute walk from Club MAC at a distance of less than 1km and is a great place for a meal out.

Fancy a walk?

If you want to stretch your legs, but don’t want to venture too far from Club MAC, we recommend walking around the canals near the resort. Have a look at the map below for a few areas to explore, taking in Grand Canal Avenue and around the lagoon. It’s an interesting and beautiful way to learn about Alcudia and enjoy a walk with your family. If you’d like any other directions or information about places to go, ask Guest Services when you arrive. The team would be happy to help.
