Free medical insurance to include COVID-19 with all Club MAC direct bookings for 2021

It’s been a long year for everyone, and at Club MAC we’re all looking forward to holidays in 2021!

We’re finally coming to the end of the challenges of this holiday season. And we’re working hard to make sure summer 2021 is as chilled out and easy a possible for our guests. Obviously COVID-19 is still in everyone’s minds, so we’re including medical insurance for everyone who books direct with Club MAC online or by email and phone.

Medical insurance now included in direct Club MAC Alcudia bookings for 2021
Club MAC is all set up with loads of health and safety measures to combat COVID-19. These include all kinds of cleaning protocols and measures to make sure your all-inclusive holiday to Alcudia next year is as safe as possible.

To give you that extra peace of mind, we’re pleased to include medical insurance from Europ Assistance with every 2021 booking made directly with us. That means if you book by phone, email or via our official website, you’ll automatically have the cover included. Anyone who has already directly booked their Club MAC holiday will have it retrospectively added to their booking too.

Bear in mind, this is medical insurance only and covers any possible COVID-19 cases too. We want you to feel extra safe while staying with us, so you can turn your attention to the important business of enjoying your long-awaited family holiday!

What does the medical insurance cover?
The full medical insurance policy can be found here, and it will still be valid even if the advice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is against travelling to Spain.

COVID-19 is classed as an illness under this medical insurance policy. Please see the policy for details, economic limit and full information on what is covered. In simple terms, warranties include the following (all with specific limits covered in the policy document):

• Medical expenses.
• Urgent dental expenses.
• Health transfer of sick and injured
• Transfer of mortal remains
• Transfer to hospital in case of emergency
• Extension of hotel stay by illness or accident
• Return home of accompanying policyholders.
• Displacement of a person to accompany the insured person.
• A person’s stay expenses to accompany the insured person.
• Accompaniment of minors or dependents.
• Sending physician.
• Ambulance delivery.
• Extension of stay of accompanying person in hotel due to hospitalisation of the insured.
• Medical guidance service.

You still need separate travel insurance for your package holiday to Spain
This is not general travel insurance, and so does not include stolen money, lost flights or any of the clauses covered under travel insurance. We’ve put this in place as a direct response to the pandemic, and because we want all of our guests to feel safe, protected and relaxed while on holiday with us.
