Club MAC advice for Driving Abroad

While it’s possible for guests to spend their entire holiday at Club MAC in our resort, there is also a lot to discover further afield. Travelling around Alcudia is easy, with plenty of options available, from taxis to buses. And, of course, the beach and waterpark are an easy walk from the resort too.

Travelling around Alcudia – airport to Club MAC

You’ll fly into Palma airport, which is Mallorca’s only commercial airport. We offer shared or private transfers through our partner company, Hoppa. To book, click here. It takes roughly one hour to reach Club MAC but does depend where we are on the drop-off list.

If you have booked with Hoppa and need to contact them, the number is +44 1483 802 408, and there should be someone available 24 hours a day. If you have small children, be aware that the shuttle buses generally don’t supply child seats.

You can also book a private taxi if you prefer, which will be slightly faster. A taxi will cost between 70 and 75 Euros but is only for a maximum of four people. There is also a limited amount of space in the boot for luggage, so check carefully before booking. While you can pre-book a taxi if you prefer, there are always plenty at the airport.

When you arrive, our Guest Services and Reception teams will be there to welcome you. Reception is manned 24 hours a day, so even if you arrive late, there will be a team member to check you in and furnish you and your family with your all-inclusive wrist bands.

Travelling around Alcudia – Club MAC to the Hidropark

The Hidropark couldn’t be simpler to get to. Literally across the road from the entrance to Club MAC Alcudia, you will find the biggest and best waterpark in the area. And, thanks to a historic agreement between Club MAC and the Hidropark, all our guests are entitled to free entry for the whole of their stay!

That means you can pop across the road and enjoy the waterpark as many times as you like. The free entrance saves you a fee of 23.50 Euro per adult per day and 16.90 Euro per child per day. The agreement also includes 20% off food and drink for Club MAC guests and sunbeds cost 4.50 Euros to hire.

Travelling around Alcudia – Club MAC to Alcudia Beach

Getting to the beach is almost as easy as getting to the Hidropark. The beautiful sandy beaches of Playa d’Alcudia are under 1km away. This is an easy stroll, but if it’s too hot for a walk, hop on our handy shuttle bus.

We have a free bus that runs back and forth to the beach between 10am and 5pm. It leaves from the main gate of Club Alcudia, and the timetable is available outside the main gates, on the Resort section of our website, or on the Club MAC app. This is free to download for Android and Apple phones and is a handy resource packed full of information for your stay.

Travelling around Alcudia – Club MAC to Port d’Alcudia

There is a large market every Tuesday and Sunday until 1pm in the beautiful Old Town area of Alcudia. You can either take a public bus from the end of the road or book a taxi into town.

To reach Port d’Alcudia, which is packed with restaurants, bars and shops, you can take our free shuttle bus. This is at your disposal every day during high season (June to early September), and runs every half an hour between 7.30pm and 10.30pm. It’s a great place to go for an evening away from the resort and gives you the opportunity to try out different restaurants and bars.

Off-season, it’s simple to book a taxi to take you from Club Mac to the port area in the evenings.

Travelling around Alcudia – Club MAC to Palma

As well as our on-site shop, nearby shopping opportunities can be found at the Old Town market and in Port d’Alcudia. We also offer various excursions that take you further afield.

There are various excursions that take you into Mallorca’s capital city, with sightseeing and shopping on offer. For example, a guided tour of the city can be combined with a trip to the shopping mall. Head to Reception or the Guest House for details on all our excursions, which include travel to and from the attractions.
