Club MAC has everything you need for a fun-packed family holiday. We’re all about the swimming pools, all-inclusive food and drink, plenty of activities and night-time entertainment. But we also know that no summer holiday is complete without plenty of beach time.

Alcudia is situated on the north-east coast of Mallorca, and Club MAC is close to a number of beautiful beaches. Here are some of the Club MAC team’s favourites to visit while you’re staying with us.

The best Alcudia beaches:

  1.  Playa de Muro – for sun, sea, sand and sunbathing.

Just a 15-minute stroll from Club MAC, you’ll find Playa de Muro. This is one of Mallorca’s finest Blue Flag beaches, with a six-metre-long stretch of stunning sandy shore. In fact, the white stretch of sand is one of the longest beaches in the whole of the Balearic Islands. With shallow, calm waters, fine white sand and plenty of facilities, it’s ideal for the family.

Conveniently close to Club MAC, Playa de Muro is ideal for a day out, and is packed with restaurants and bars for lunch and snacks. There are plenty of hotels along the beach, all offering their own entertainment too. And if you’re in the mood for something a bit more active, there are lots of water sports available to try out too.

Facilities include toilets, showers, lifeguards on duty and disabled access, making Play de Muro ideal for everyone. It’s also one of the quieter beaches as it is that much further away from Alcudia town itself.

  1.  Playa d’Alcudia – for activities, fun and non-stop action.

Alcudia beach is livelier than Playa de Muro and is easily accessible from Club MAC. It’s around a 17-minute stroll, which can be lovely in the warm weather. Or you can hop on our shuttle bus running every half hour throughout the day – check the timetable just outside the main entrance of the resort.

With all the charm of Play de Muro, Alcudia beach also has a long stretch of golden sand, shallow, calm waters and is perfect for the whole family. It stretches around the coast of Mallorca and is a pristine beach with everything you need to keep the kids and adults entertained.

Another Blue Flag beach, Alcudia is patrolled by lifeguards, and has plenty of sporting activities to try. Whether you fancy a boat trip or windsurfing, there are loads of different things to do. And, along the strip, you’ll find lots of restaurants, cafes and bars offering plenty of choice for food and drink. Although it’s livelier at the Alcudia end, you can head down to the opposite end of the beach for a bit more peace and quiet. It has something for everyone, from the most active kid to the chilled-out sunbather.

  1.  Aucanada/Alcanada beach – for beautiful, natural scenery.

Alcanda beach is right on the outskirts of Alcudia and is around two miles from Club MAC. Expect a 40-minute gentle stroll, and you’ll find this peaceful haven. Away from the crowds, this beach is ideal if you want ab it of peace and quiet. It’s a very relaxing spot to spend some time, with soft white sand lined with pine trees and stunning views. We’d highly recommend some time at this idyllic beach, just to watch the waves and soak up the sun.

  1.  St Joan and St Pere beaches – for serenity and sunbathing.

These are the smallest beaches on our list, and are perfect for peace, quiet, sunbathing and contemplation. Around a 50-minute walk from Club MAC, these beaches are just 100m long, and while they do boast sunbeds and parasols, numbers are limited. Get there early and bag yourself a sunbathing spot with incredible views over the blue, blue sea and Puerto de Pollensa. Gorgeous!

If you don’t fancy the walk, use our shuttle bus to Playa d’Alcudia, or pop to Reception or the Guest House to find out the quickest way to get to the beach of your choice.
