Rainy days at Club MAC Alcudia
We’re the sunshine island all the way through the summer, but even Mallorca can’t avoid some rain some of the time!
If you’re visiting us in October then you can expect beautiful weather most of the time. We can easily have eight hours of glorious sunshine every day. Temperatures are still very pleasant with an average of about 18°C, with plenty of days reaching 23°C. So there will be plenty of opportunity to sunbathe, swim and take part in our outdoor activity programme.
Rainiest month
October is our rainiest month of the year, with 63mm of rain falling typically across 12 days of the month. But, as usual, our team at Club MAC Alcudia has thought of everything and we have loads of entertainment on offer on even the rainiest of days.
While you’re waiting for the sunshine to return, have a look at what you and your family can get stuck into on wet days.
Activities for rainy days
Head over to the Saturno building where you’ll find plenty to do on the first floor. We have games rooms available where you can all play table tennis, darts, cards and much more. Open for kids of all ages, the games room is available between 11.30 and 13:00 and, after lunch, from 15:00 to 17:00.
As well as the games room, we have a PlayStation room where kids of all ages can play videogames against each other. It’s open for the same hours as the games room and is perfect to keep your children entertained until the sunshine returns!
Games in the Jupiter building
During the morning in the Jupiter building, we have a quiz with a projector and questions on loads of different subjects. These will range from music and films to sport and entertainment. It’s loads of fun and aimed at adults and teenagers. The multimedia quiz runs from 10:30 to 12:00.
From 12:00 to 13:00, we have our ‘Mac’ game, which has prizes to be won. This is followed in the afternoon (between 15:00 and 17:00) by games of bingo, dance classes, cocktail making demonstrations and more.
All of this takes place on the ground floor. On the first floor, you’ll find our Minis and Maxis groups. Our entertainers are on hand with loads of fun games and art activities to try. These can be anything from face painting to parties for the children. This also runs all day, from 10:30-13:00 and then again from 15:00-17:00.
