How to Keep Your Children Safe at the Waterparks and Pools of Alcudia

When you stay at top Majorcan family holiday resort Club MAC Alcudia, you can enjoy a range of amazing pools. We strive to keep our pools in fantastic condition, but this is very much a team effort, so we need your help to keep these amazing facilities safe for everyone.  Here’s what you can do…

Breath-taking pools

Majorca is a sun-drenched, Majorcan paradise. Average temperatures in Alcudia, where our resort is based, can reach up to the mid-30s in the summer months. When it gets hot, there’s nothing better than taking a dip in a nice cold pool with your family and here at Club MAC, we can help you out.

You will find nine pools on our site and we’re also located just across the road from the Hidropark Water Park, one of Majorca’s best attractions. Our water facilities include three adult pools and a children’s pool at our Jupiter building. We also have a large pool for the young at heart and a smaller kid’s pool at the Saturno, as well as the Marte pool and thrill-inducing river pool just next to the Marte.

Keeping pools safe

You can rest assured that when swimming in our pools, we do everything we can to keep you safe. In partnership with Preverisk, we spend 69,000€ on average per season maintaining our pools, conducting 18 daily readings. All relevant Club MAC staff are also trained in Preverisk procedures and if there’s an accident, Club MAC closes the pool for 24 hours to ensure everyone remains safe.

But there’s only so much we can do; we need your help to keep Club MAC’s pools safe for every guest to enjoy. You can help maintain Club MAC’s pool health and safety by carrying out a range of common sense measures such as informing our team e.g. a lifeguard, immediately if there is an accident. We can then clear the pool straight away, so we can get it back in good working order as soon as possible.

We also ask you to refrain from swimming with babies younger than six months old, as the chlorine could damage their skin and dress young children who aren’t toilet trained with waterproof nappies before swimming. You should also ensure that you or your kids don’t eat or drink in or near any pools, all don footwear in swimming areas, use soap and sanitising gel in Club MAC’s toilets and restaurants and do not swim if you’ve had diarrhoea in the past three days, to keep our pools in good condition.

Best possible holiday

We do everything we can to make sure you have the best possible experience, when visiting Club MAC Alcudia. By following the simple guidelines listed above, you can maintain health and safety in our pools, so everyone can enjoy them. That way, you can help us, help you make great holiday memories!
