Palma Cathedral

Religious history enthusiasts should visit Palma Cathedral whilst they’re in Majorca’s largest city. Also known as the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma, the building was designed in the Catalan gothic style and overlooks the picturesque Par de le Mer and the Mediterranean Sea. It provides a fascinating glimpse of the cultural traditions that have shaped life on the island for centuries.

Royal Palace of La Almudaina

Originally built as an Arabian fort, the Royal Palace of La Almudaina has been an official royal residence since the early 14th Century. Today you can tour the grand structure, which can be found in the centre of Palma, and explore how the Arabic aristocracy that once ruled the island have had a lasting effect on its culture, history and traditions. The view from the palace’s famous palm tree-lined terrace is particularly spectacular!
