Welcome to Marineland
Located near the Majorcan capital of Palma, Marineland is a water-based theme park. A visit to this brilliant attraction will give your family a chance to get acquainted with a number of sea creatures including seals, sea lions and dolphins.
On that note, Marineland is particularly known for its signature dolphin shows. The parks seven friendly dolphins, which are always a hit with visitors, never fail to put on a great spectacle. This will provide you and your kids with the chance to learn more about the intelligence of these fascinating animals. If that wasn’t enough, Marineland also hosts sea lion shows for your viewing pleasure!
Meet the animals
Marineland also has three aquariums. The fresh-water aquarium is a real treat for the eyes, featuring striking species such as guppies and the notorious piranhas. Meanwhile Marineland’s India-Pacific Ocean-inspired sea-water aquarium allows you to glimpse many species including the rare sea turtle and its Mediterranean aquarium houses creatures like guitar fish, manta rays and sea bass.
However, Marineland is also home to a range of other creatures! It has an aviary which contains colourful birds such as flamingos and humbolt penguins, while its bird sanctuary allows you to get up close and personal with the majestic hyacinth macaw. Even better, Marineland also has a tropical house. Here, you’ll find everything from iguanas and snakes to poison-dart frogs and primates!

You can book this excursion at either the Marte Hotel’s reception or at the Club House. We do bus trips to Marineland every day except the weekend. A trip to Marineland will only set you back 42€ per adult and 28€ per child, while children under the age of three can visit for free! Marineland is worth every penny; this unique attraction will give you amazing holiday memories in Majorca!
